About the Event
There is nothing more important right now than excelling with emotional intelligence. Join us for an overview on improving yours!
Emotional Intelligence is the cornerstone to how we think, act, respond and develop strong relationships. Data shows that our success in work, and life, is more closely related to our EQ (Emotional Quotient), than our IQ (Intelligence Quotient). In these uncertain times, the ability to monitor, interpret, and control our emotions, and understand those of others is more important than ever. Join Corey Campbell, CEO of Akamai Training & Consulting, for this complimentary webinar as he gives you a high-level overview of the primary elements of Emotional Intelligence, and offers tips and tactics to improve in each one.
In this webinar, participants will:
- Develop a deeper understanding of the four primary elements of Emotional Intelligence: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social-Awareness, and Relationship Management.
- Understand the science behind the brain’s decision-making process, and how to make balanced decisions using ration and logic during times of stress or pressure.
- Assess areas of strength and weakness within their own Emotional Quotient, and identify tangible, behavioral methods to enhance their strengths and mitigate their weaknesses.
Corey discovered his passion early in life and wakes up excited every day to pursue it: ignite souls to live energized, engaged, and inspired lives. He has served as a pioneer in the field of Organizational Psychology as a Leadership Consultant, Corporate Trainer, Executive Coach, and Keynote Speaker for the past 20 years, working with both local and international groups. He has facilitated hundreds of Emotional Intelligence workshops to leadership teams across North America and believes that one’s Emotional Quotient (EQ) is the single greatest indicator of career and relationship success.
As the CEO & Founder of Akamai Training & Consulting, he works with organizations and leaders to transform their lives and businesses from the inside out - building a strong foundation of purpose, passion, and understanding for each other that leads to a culture of high-performance and enjoyment of work and life. His model starts by activating an inspired mindset within, amplifying it with heightened self-awareness and dedicated mindfulness, and then leading others with emotional intelligence and purpose. He drives leaders and teams to be open, honest, and real, and embrace the tough conversations that foster genuine team unity and collaboration.
He is active in the community, serving on the Board of Directors for After-School All-Stars Hawaii, the Waikiki Community Center, the Hawaii Food & Wine Epicurean Board, and the Make-A-Wish Hawaii Young Leader’s Executive Board, and is an alumnus of the Pacific Century Fellows Program (2018).
